More on registering your trademark with ICANN's clearinghouse.

Previously, I expressed my concern over the legitimacy of ICANN's expansion of generic top-level domains (gTLDs). This article states putative benefits of registering your trademark with ICANN's clearinghouse, but it inherently states the relative uselessness in doing so. The notice provisions only last for 90 days, and nothing prevents another person from registering a domain name incorporating a registered trademark.
