Trademark rights in surnames.
Although similar to my post on the topic, this is a good article about common myths regarding trademark registrations in surnames. The article discusses how a surname with secondary meaning can be trademarked. The corollary is that you cannot automatically use your surname in a business without the risk of it being federally registered by someone else.
